Struggling with Back Pain?
We Are Here To HelpEveryday life can take its toll on your body. Stress, poor posture, injuries or repetitive strain can all lead to small misalignments in the spine. These misalignments may affect how your joints move and interfere with the nervous system, often resulting in back pain, stiffness or general discomfort. At Tamworth Chiropractic Clinic, we focus on finding the root cause and providing hands-on care to help restore your body’s natural movement and function.

Your Healing Journey
To begin your healing journey, your chosen chiropractor will carry out a full examination, which including x-rays if necessary.
They will then ask you questions about your posture, medical history and lifestyle, to try and discover the cause of your back pain and offer a diagnosis of your complaint.

Starting your Treatment
Then your treatment will begin, often with gentle, specific manipulations done by hand, to free stiff joints and remove spinal nerve irritation.
This effective drug-free treatment is generally painless, although you may feel some short-term discomfort if your back is very sore.
Expert Recommendations
Your chiropractor may recommend ice or heat treatment and massage. Scientific research shows that you should remain active – prolonged bed rest weakens the bones and muscles and reduces your chances of a full recovery so you may also be advised to take regular gentle exercise to ease your pain, and help your body to recuperate.

Diagnostic Imaging & Specialist Referrals
At Tamworth Chiropractic Clinic, your safety and accurate diagnosis are our priority. While most musculoskeletal conditions can be assessed clinically, there are occasions where further investigation is appropriate.Â
Where clinically indicated, your chiropractor may recommend diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans, or ultrasound imaging. These investigations are arranged through trusted external facilities, and referrals are made with your full consent. All results are carefully reviewed and explained to you before any ongoing care is advised.
If your condition requires additional medical input, we can also provide referrals to appropriate specialist consultants. Our goal is to ensure you receive the most suitable care pathway, whether that is continued chiropractic management or onward referral for further investigation or treatment.
